• You will get the best quality through an HDMI using the ARC docks. Definitely better than optical connections.

• Hdmi is good option. You don’t need to go higher than chocolate. The higher you go in cable the more silver content you’ll get which effects sound. Unless your getting high end equipment such as Yamaha, Pioneer, Marantz and bowers&wilkins there is no real benefit or need to go higher.
