“How long is the cable. The specs say 6.56 inches....is it really that short? And if so, what are you going to connect at that length???”

That's 6.56 feet not inches.

It's a typo on Best Buy's website. It's a 2.0 m. cable, which is 6.56 feet, not inches! I hope this clears things up.

When I used that length cable. it connected to the DVD player near by to the TV. The question to determine is the distance between the units.
