This cable should work with any HDMI connections...Its all about the quality of the internal cables and not the connector.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The HDMI cable connects to the Comcast cable box with no problem. I have a Szmsung QLED 4K TV not the Sony specified in the question. The cable connects to my Samsung without issue. Since HDMI connectors are standard and I expect that the Sony has HDMI connectors, there shouldn't be any problem connecting this cable to the Sony TV.

However, I always try to make sure that I have the most up to date cable box offered by Comcast based on the service that I am paying for currently. You might find that Comcast has a newer, more up to date cable box available that will be much better and not increase your current cable bill. Generally, Comcast will not inform you that you are eligible for an upgraded box at no additional charge. That is just something you must be aware of and occasionally contact Comcast and ask if there is an upgrade available. I usually get on average 2 new boxes each year, without paying any additional charges. You might have to pick up the box from a comcast store to avoid a service charge for sending someone to your house but it is always worth the upgrade. If you have any further questions please reply to this message. I hope this was helpful.
