I'm not sure I fully understand. Are you saying you cannot hear any improvement after installing Rocket 33 into your system? There is no problem using different brands or even different models from the same manufacturer in the same system. If you were to upgrade the Monster cable even to something modest like one of our SLiP cables, you should hear a marked improvement in sound quality.
