They are NOT removable. The best you can do is similar to my center channel speakers for my 2nd system. These Rocket 33 cables are 13 AWG. You can buy a spool of 30 feet of the X2 wire, it is 14 AWG. AudioQuest - X-2 30' Speaker Cable - White/Gray Model:X2GRA 30FT SKU:9511085 If u need banana plugs for the other end, they are I think $49.99 for 4 of them in a package. Your only other option is to cut the plugs off the 13 AWG to your application. They sell that speaker wire in a 50 foot section as well. Very heavy wire. I am happy with it
