• I would not consider this cable overkill for a soundbar or other component in a home theater system. You can consider another cable for half the price and may not see or hear any difference, however, these premium cables are designed to deliver the best audio and video signals.

• What kind of tv and sound bar? I’d say yes if you have a PlayStation 5 or any other high quality source of content yes but for a basic sound bar and tv no this cable is overkill as you say
