Chocolate cables are great but they use just 2.5% silver conductors. Vodka cables use 10%. Plus Vodka has silver plated tips. Better for less distortion.

First is increasing the amount of silver-plating on the signal conductors from 2.5% on the Chocolate to 10% on the Vodka. Second is the Vodka adds additional layers of shielding which we refer to as the Noise-Dissipation System (NDS). These improvements result in reduced levels of interference/distortion and a fewer number of errors in the signal path with the outcome being better performance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Vodka cable has better connectors and appears to provide a clearer signal. I started with Chocolate Audio Quest HDMI cables and moved up to Carbon and then to Vodka in keep areas for my home theater setup. The biggest improvement was in sound quality with less improvement in picture quality. However the improved picture quality is noticeable on my 65" SONY 4K TV. I found the best place to start is the connection between the DVD Player and Receiver. I currently have Vodka cables from the DVD to Receiver and Receiver to the TV. All others are Carbon cables. I also noticed an improvement during my initial upgrade from Chocolate to Carbon too.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This hype over HDMI cables is intended to part dollars from you wallet. For runs under 50 feet it simply does not make any difference. I would go with the cheapest cable for the application. People who have too much money and don't how to spend it buy this cable. Believe I can afford this cable. I have done my own eys and ear test and could not find any difference. Remember to make this cable it is likely under $10. A lot of money thru the supply chain is made on this cable.
