A:AnswerI had the same problem. I went online and purchased a $5 dollar larger doorbell transformer that sits in the closet by the chime. I believe it was a full 20volt transformer to power the August doorbell cam and this solved the problem. Replacing the transformer took about 5 minutes.
A:AnswerAs far as I know, the August Doorbell Cam supports/connects via a 2.4 GHz (802.11b/g/n) Wi-Fi network. It should connect if you have a dual 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz network. I have an Orbi (tri-band) Wi-Fi network setup and all of my August products (Smart Lock Pro, Doorbell Cam and Smart Keypad) hook up and sync with no problems.

A:AnswerIt records remotely to the cloud so it always needs an internet connection which has never been a problem with my mesh network. No actual storage card or internal memory. The video is then available for free to view and download in a few minutes for the next 24 hours. There are plans monthly/yearly to store the video longer than the free 24 hours.
