• If you currently have a deadbolt it will replace the inside portion of your deadbolt allowing you to use your current key. It runs off Bluetooth. If you don’t have a deadbolt it will not work.

• No, the lock works over Bluetooth alone unless you add the wireless bridge.

• If you use the connect Bridge internet is required. This allows you to lock your "she shed" from anywhere using an August smart lock. Without the connect Bridge, the lock uses bluetooth, but this is only short range.

• No internet is required, all you need is the Bluetooth on cellphone to connect to it, and of course batteries.
