• Yes the key pad will let you know the battery level. But if it gets cold the keypad will eat batteries twice a week

• It is indicated in the smartphone august app. Once installed, look on the app keypad settings, and the battery condition is listed there.

• The smartphone august app will indicate the battery condition for the keypad and doorbell. I don't believe it indicates battery condition for the smartlock itself.
