• Was worried as well. We have a standard size deadbolt. Fit perfectly.

• Hey Joe. The lock is huge but I have a very old rentalhome that I used the lock for and it fit the standard door fine, The deadbolt on the door is a very old basic cylinder deadbolt

• I do not know the diameter, but I have a door that opens outwards, so the frame is right by the handle and lock. It is a tight fit, but it works for me.
