DJI is no different towards their consumer. I have had one battery catch fire when you report when something like that happens they send this big long form asking Dumb questions it's a total stupid question that if you answer them in a wrong manner it will Go against you and that's what they try to do is to make anything the consumer's fault regardless if it is DJ I's fault they will not take the responsibility they will try and try to get you to say something wrong then use it Against you? Be very careful when talking with DJI.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I recommend to keep away from Autel. Mainly due to their very poor consideration of the customer after ending the drone. They will do it again with the EVO 2. Its already in the works. Battery life can not be estimated with any sort of reliability. Many has had various different failures, many without warning. They are not cheap. Some will have low time and take a normal charge and then go from 100% to as low as 10% shortly after take off. Other can have many hours on them. I had two that were functioning normally and both on the same day gave me a damaged battery code on the controller before take off. That can not be a coincidence and I believe came about after a firmware update. Since I have had another one fail. This was all new to me until I found the forum Autel Pilots. Autel will no longer support new parts, batteries. Bad business practice when one considers 55 Chevy's are still driving around.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it’s no longer supported but Autel still sells batteries new and refurbished grade for $59.00 refurbished and $79.00 brand new. I recommend new batteries. There are still Drone repair shops in the USA that are highly qualified to work on any drone for a reasonable price. They have custom drone battery companies out there to. You just may have to pay more? Take care of your batteries and cycle them down to about 20% every 20 charges and store them when not flying at about 50-60% 2 led lights on and one blinking
