• It might be due to the ambient temperature in your home. If my home remains "cool", the lower portion will stay at 51. But when it heats up, it might reach 54 or so. Not quite 57, but higher than I would like.

• I keep the bottom on mine at 64 because that's what's recommended for reds...the top for whites at 52.
