Hi Djames The ALR-D100 screen is made of high-quality Fresnel PET material, and its primary anti-light principle originates from both material and physical structure design. Its surface structure resembles overlapping arch shapes, effectively reflecting light from the top and sides to reduce light interference. Additionally, it absorbs light beams from the bottom ultra-short throw projector and reflects within a 90° viewing range. In contrast, the Cinematic screen features a wavy structure primarily reflecting light from the top. Most customers opt for the Cinematic screen for home theater rooms. Does direct light in front mean the screen will be facing the window? I haven't seen these 2 screens actually displayed in this scenario. But the ALR-D100 is in our office, one flanked by a full floor to ceiling window, and the top light is also very strong and it displays amazing pictures.
