Does this version actually work with phone cases, or do you need to remove them like the other versions? null

I had to remove my phone case, but it is a thicker case.  Im not sure about really thin cases.

It will depend on your phone case. They supply adapters for case or caseless connection. Check on backbones website for which cases will fit with the backbone. Or just try it and see if it fits. I have an otterbox defender on my s23 ultra and it does not fit so i have to remove my case to directly connect my phone with the backbone pro. But you could always prop your phone up and uss the bluetooth function as well as i will do when j dont want to take off the case if im on the go.

It comes with plastic attachments to make the opening bigger if you take them out or smaller if you leave them in, depending on how big your case is. I use a Pixel 7 with a spigen case and it fits great. (Case is on in attached photo)
