To hook it to an old stereo, you have to buy a 3.5mm to 1/4” adapter. If you want to use bluetooth capability on the receiver, you can get small bluetooth adapters. Logitech makes a great bluetooth adapter that comes with jacks to turn an old amp/receiver into a wireless connectivity ready unit.
