- Answer Safe retains 1 pin code Factory default pin code is: “159” 1. Initialization Button is located inside of battery compartment. Please pull out the battery compartment cover until you see the button. Then press and release the initialization button. Indicator light under proceed should light up. 2. Enter desired 3-8 digit Pin Code and press “#” key. Indicator light under proceed should disappear. Replace cap on the initialization button.

QuestionMy safe did not have a key hole behind the Barska plate…it was loosely glued on. Any ideas how to get in this safe? The lock is not working, and I’m putting in the right password bc the light turns green, the lock just won’t open.

- Answer Dont buy Barska safes. It takes an act of god to get this company to send duplicate keys... a notary is involved! My safe did not come with keys, directly from Home Depot. Or they fell out of the delivery box which was torn up upon delivery.
