Can they be located if lost, or emit a noise? null

I lost mine about a month ago. The Findmy feature with Apple will not pinpoint a precise location. All you can do is emit a sound from them. They will not lock so that someone else cannot use them and they will not send you to a place where you can find them. If I recall correctly, it will show you where they were last but they do not connect to the internet so there is no way to locate them if they are not in close proximity for you to hear the noise. I also do not know if they make a loud sound from the case since mine were not where they were last seen.
