While they aren't rated as noise canceling, they still have great sound performance. These are super comfortable! I practically sleep in mine every night and have never had an issue with sore ears. I pair mine with my iPhone and could go two days without charging them. They do come with a cord, but I have yet to use it. I just keep them on charge in the morning since I mainly use them after work.

But they work really good! They will not hurt your ear because they are cushioned. Yes, they come with a connection cord to charge up the headphones and they also come with a cord to plug into the headphones if you don't want to wear them wireless.

The over ear is further away and there's more space to let in sound so they add NC to those. These headphones don't apply a lot of pressure to your head so that shouldn't be a problem. If Apple ear buds don't hurt your ears, neither will these. They come with a charging cord. But they must be in the case to charge.
