“If this headset has a built-in mic, why is there a “wired” mic included? Also can it be used as a gaming headset w/ the PS4??”

Wired mic cord is an extra piece in case you decide not to utilize the Bluetooth connection. The Studio3 wire connected with a PS4 controller will not work. Audio can be heard but they will not be able to hear you.
