- Answer Yes it can be both wired and wireless, i use the wired when im on a plane or train to make sure i do not loose or drop my phone most of the time, kinda failsafe in case i forgot(which i always do) forget where i put my phone. And yes connecting them to the devices charges your headphones too.

QuestionI am looking for a comfortable set of headphones for my father to watch tv with. Will this set work with a new Samsung tv? And are they easily rechargable?

- Answer The Beats Solo3's are very comfortable. They easily recharge; 10 minutes gets you 3 hours of playback and there is like a 22 hour charge. They active noice-cancellation is very nice. While I do have a Samsung QLED TV, I do not have the Beats Solo3's hooked up to the tv. I have them linked to my Apple TV. I do not know if anyone else can answer that question.
