I would say yes they would get ruined. Based on the fact that the ear cup material is like a rubbery form. It definitely feels like they wouldn't hold up to extreme conditions such as moisture. Additionally, they are kind of heavy and large, I prefer this for sitting at my desk or during a movie, but to run with them, you might be better off with ear buds.

Please try again later.I brought these as a birthday gift for my 17yr son, he lIves them and I plan to get a pair for my daughter too...It's a possibility the sweat wouldl ruin the inside of the head phones, from what I understand the Sports Beats that hook over the ear, they are Sweat & Waterproof because they're made for Working Out.
