The Studio 3 comes with apples proprietary chip in it, which allows connectivity in the same way as the Apple Air Pod headphones. It allows the headphones to automatically be transferred from phone, to apple watch, to ipad, to apple computer without ever having to disconnect one and reconnect to the next. If this isn't an issue, get the 2!
