Once you have the camera set up on your smartphone, you can look down the ear canal and you put a protective ring on so it reminds you how far in the canal you are. I would buy again and would recommend to friends.

The circumference of this mini camera is larger then the average person’s ear canal but with the camera and your smart phone you can see down the ear canal. May save you a trip to Dr office.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This comes with a “bumper” for lack of a better word. The directions tell you where to place it to protect your eardrum. My son has a perforated eardrum so we are more aware than most when it comes to the ear.
