Is this downward compatible with USB 2.0 devices? null

I am using several devices plugged into this four USB hub that are not 3.0 devices...such as jump drives and SD card readers. It works fine. The only time I had an issue -- not related to 3.0 or 2.0 was upgrading from Yosemite to Sierra on the MAC Computer. The hub was compatible; however, my external hard drive had to be reconfigured with a new driver for the computer software...once done...no issue.
