      Hi. Thank you for sharing this feedback. We’re sad to hear that the device has not work as expected. The hub is designed to work with OS X 10.8.2 or higher, if your iMac is within those specs, it should work properly. You can also check the USB ports of your iMac to make sure they are working properly. As for charging your mobile devices, the USB hub was not designed for that purpose.
