• Sounds like there is a problem with the usb ports or you need drivers for you iPhone and other items! Try plugging the item into the port and reboot and see if it recognizes it then and installs drivers automatically!

• try to unplug it and plug-in again. sometimes you need a minute or two for your computer to recognized, depends how fast your computer is.
