• Hi. The Belkin BOOST CHARGE Wireless Charging Pad 15W works with lightweight plastic cases up to 3mm, and will not work with metal phone cases.

• Yes, it has charged my phone which is in a case. I believe you cannot charge phone if it’s in a metal case.
