“I am trying to connect 2 hp external monitors to my dell latitude E7440 laptop for work after plugging the 2 connections into the laptop and the 2 vga connections into the belkin adapter I get a message on the external monitor that states: Input signal out of range change setting to 1600x900-80 hz. can I not use this product for the dell and hp monitors? At first I downloaded the software for the monitors into the dell but got the same thing, then I uninstalled the software and tried it again, still getting same message. Please advise. would I be better off with a docking station?”

I just bought this device tonight and I could only get my monitors to mirror one another and not extend the display. After contacting Belkin and chatting for 20 minutes they informed me that all it is supposed to do is mirror the display and not extend it. I am returning this product tonight.
