• Depends on the car. Does it have Bluetooth? If not, does it have an auxiliary jack? A charger just charges. To get the Nano to play thru the car radio you have to connect it either wirelessly thru Bluetooth or wired thru an aux jack and cable to the headphones jack.

• You can buy a charger with an FM transmitter or buy the charger separately and buy an auxiliary 3.5 mm cable to connect to your car auxiliary
