“Explain about the mobile requirements I don't have an iPad or any of the other mobile devices. Would my internet connection be enough? I mean, couldn't it just record to the Cloud? It sounds like it does, but the various posts are confusion.”

The cameras can record to the cloud based on motion detection but only if you sign up for a monthly subscription service. Otherwise you have to be watching the camera and either click the camera button to take a picture or click the record button manually to record video.

However, if you are to record a video, you can only do it via the NetCam app. Once you have recorded a video using the NetCam app, you can view the video from the app or from the computer browser at http://belkin.com/netcam.
