“Can Alexa be turned off? Can I use this device as a Bluetooth speaker and phone charger only? I’m looking for a definitive answer, not “Just don’t use Alexa”. Can Alexa be disabled/turned off?”

Hi. The Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE G1S0002 has an Amazon Alexa feature. The Belkin SOUNDFORM app will ask if you would like to set up Alexa at this time. Alexa is not required to set up or use the speaker. For information on Amazon Alexa setup with the speaker, check this out: https://www.belkin.com/us/support-article?articleNum=317561. If you prefer, however, to skip the Alexa setup and complete the speaker setup, tap on Skip.

yeah you can press the mute and it stops receiving voice commands. or better still dont even pair it to your alexa in the first place during setup.
