• I believe you confused the Ultimate Keyboard Case with the Ultimate Keyboard Case Pro. Only the Pro version has a backlit keyboard.

• No, it does not have backlit keys. I do not remember reading that but it does not,

• The keyboard you bought was probably not the Ultimate keyboard. The Ultimate has backlit keys and a detachable feature.
