“I have a Belkin adapter for my Macbook pro and an adapter for my older iPad - lightning connector. If I've got the iPad hooked up, my Macbook won't show a connection. Any way around this?”

Hi, Brad. The adapter is designed to keep your Mac or other USB-C device charged while connected to Ethernet. The charging port is not designed to charge a secondary device.
