• No, For 5G you would need a wireless network adapter if you wanted to connect to the 5G WiFi in your house. This specific device would connect you straight to your router or switch and no wireless technology of any kind would be needed. If your talking at 5G cellular... it's not for that either. Also, for this specific one, if you don't have 5G WiFi on your laptop you don't have a usb c port, I can almost guarantee that, so this would not be something you would want to buy either.
