A:Answer I purchased a Lenovo Yoga 6 and before I bought my adapter for my brand new monitor, I checked with Best Buy that I was purchasing the correct adapter.
My Lenovo Yoga 6 does not have a port for a monitor, henceforth, needed an adapter.
Very easy install once all components were together. I plugged the monitor into the adapter; the adapter into a hub; and the hub cable into the laptop.
Everything is working great!
As to the rest of your question, I am not tech savvy and recommend that you check with Best Buy BEFORE purchasing.
