I am writing an update to my question ... I DID contact Belkin and it turns out that this specific adapter HAS NOT BEEN TESTED ON ANY WINDOWS 10 MACHINE YET! I bought this adapter based on the information detailed on the Best Buy website that says it works on Win10 machines and this is FALSE, as per Belkin. May this be a warning to other Win10 users to NOT BUY THIS ADAPTER. And to Best Buy to please update the misleading info on their website. Hoping to be able to return this adapter for a full refund ...
