• Hi there, Hdylan028. The USB-C to HDMI Adapter is designed to connect any video-enable USB-C device to any other display equipped with an HDMI port. Should your Samsung phone support video over USB-C and your Sony unit has a HDMI-enabled display, then the adapter would work.
