Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't had any trouble. Software downloads are not required. It's plug and play if you have a Samsung or other phone or tablet with a C type charging/data plug and a TV with an HDMI input. INSTRUCTIONS: Turn the TV on and select its input as the HDMI port you plan to plug the cable into. Plug in the HDMI end of the cable into the TV input port. Turn on your phone (I have an S8). Plug the end of the cable with the little box into the phone. In approximately 10 seconds your TV should be displaying what is on the phone. It will be a long thin strip down the center because the phone image is a long thin strip. Select a picture or video to view, next rotate the phone (you must have the auto rotate feature enabled). After rotating the phone 90 degrees you will see the picture or video fill the phone's screen and the TV will all so have a full screen image. If watching video be sure the quality is at least SD and preferably HD as many services offer lower data rates to save gigabytes or limit buffering, These options cause image quality to be reduced.
