It should be fine, as long as the rating of the device to be switched is below the specified rating, switch is rated for 15A, but my comment on it, is better if used below such rating, these devices are safety tested so they should be OK for indoor use, if not should be stated in the specs or instructions. Hope everything goes well, this is my second device and so far they work as intended, using them with Alexa expands the possibilities.
