• Hi, LJ. The Belkin 10W Wireless Charging Pad does not have a battery. It requires to be plugged into a power outlet to charge Qi-enabled devices.

• The belkin charger needs to be plugged in. It will not charge if it's unplugged. Your mobile just needs to be well positioned over it.
