Need range extender or repeater? Temporarily I'm living in a mother-in-law apartment on my daughters property. I'm getting signal from her router but the signal in low and only frequently. I will need my own router when I move, but in the mean time, do I need a range extender or a repeater? And do they make it with a regular router so I don't have to buy two different things?

A range extender may work, if your less than 80' or so. anything more than that, you wont be happy with the speed.

I would suggest just an extender.
Maybe the "Netgear Universal WiFi Range Extender with Ethernet port".
Or the "Amped Wireless - High Power Wireless-N 600mW Gigabit Dual Band Repeater and Range Extender" if you want to extend a 5.0Ghz Signal"
Your not necessarily going to find "one thing" that will give you a ton of range, unless your willing to spend a pretty penny for it.
