“Hi, Glass material feels like plastic. is it really glass. Sticker says BPA free. so am confused, if its Glass why do we have to say BPA free.”

• The kettle has plastic cap and handle, they are BPA free; the body of the kettle is made of glass.

• The kettle is made from borosilicate glass, which is the material Pyrex glassware is made from. The glass kettle has stainless steel heating element inside the chamber; it is not heated through the glass. I'd figure the sealing material between the glass kettle and the heating element is BPA free.

• The main part is really glass. The lid and strainer are plastic. The water goes through the strainer when it's being poured out.
