“How do i know when its done? I saw the other answers said it has no ringer. Does the light turn off?”

• The red light and heat source turns off. It is still hot, though and will cook for a while if you don't remove the eggs. There is no audible ring or notification. You have to pretty much be there to watch the red light switch off. I do not recommend it.

• The light goes off. The instructions then say to unplug it and push the button again to toggle it into the “off” position (but it turns itself off). That way when you use it again when you plug it in it will be in the “off” position and not turn on immediately.

• It has a beeping tone that lets you know the eggs are done.
