Hello, thanks for reaching out. Cleaning and Maintenance 1. Unplug the waffle maker, and allow it to cool down before cleaning. 2. You can easily remove any excess oils or crumbs without disassembling the appliance. 3. Never submerge the appliance in water or place it in the dishwasher. 4. Use only plastic or wooden utensils on the heating plates. Metal may damage the plates. 5. Use a soft cloth on the heating plates and occasionally a metal polish intended for stainless steel on the outer housing. Never use abrasive scouring pads or steel wool. 6. If there is hardened batter on the plates, pour a little oil and let it sit for about 5-7 minutes. You can then wipe clean with a paper towel. 7. It is very easy to clean. It’s like a nonstick surface so all you would need is a wet towel and wipe away any debris.

Non-stick and very quick and easy to clean with a damp paper towel. Make sure you don't overfill it with batter or it could be really messy and get inside the housing.

Simply brush the crumbs out and wipe with a wet cloth and allow to dry

If you sprayed with oil before use you just need to clean with a damp paper towel and that's it.
