“How do you clean the actual machine....NOT THE BASKET? Specifially, inside, under the heating mechanism. It is terribly dirty/greasy and smells.”

I don't use oil in air fryer and didn't use oil in baking oven. Might seem like tasteless food, but seasonings are added after cooking. It's oil making hard cleaning.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Each time I use this, I wipe it down as much as possible. I use this a lot, sometimes more than once a day. It’s not dirty or greasy under the basket or anything. It doesn’t smell at all. I have never had a problem with it being dirty. The only thing I can recommend is that after each use, unplug it, and wipe it down with a dishrag and then if it is damp, dry it with a paper towel.
