“How do you know when it has been preheated and ready to cook?”

• I don't think there's any way to know for sure. I give it 2-3 minutes without food to pre-heat. I heats very quickly.

• It doesn't need to preheat. Put it on the setting and its ready to go!!

• Hello, Thank you for reaching out We include a recipe guide in the instruction manual with suggested cooking times. This recipe guide is based on placing foods in unit at beginning of cook time. It is about 4 minutes, however it is not necessary to preheat. Thank You BELLA Customer Service

• You don't have to preheat just set the time and temperature and it's ready to go after you press the start/pause button.
