Why is it called "TriZone?" null

I’m guessing because there is a divider that can be removed. With the divider in there are two zones, remove the divider and it is your third zone. The heating cannot be set per zone, it’s all the same.

Because it cooks 2 separate meals or one large meal. So they count the separated compartments as 2 zones and the non separated compartment as the 3rd zone.
