What were they thinking! It's like the VCR flashing clock, but with this, you have to unplug it to make it stop! BUT, I got mine for $35 bucks, so I'll put up with it ;) ...

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Apparently that's the way it was designed, another reviewer ranted about this so-called problem. Personally, this would not bother me at all and you can always unplug it if it really bothers you that much. Unplugging it or putting it on a power strip wouldn also make it convenient and use the least possible amount of electricity.
