No just make sure you are turning the center the right way I can't remember if it right or left handed thread
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am answering my own question. I got it loose with a flat head screwdriver that I will keep in the box with it when I store it. I haven't used it yet though because I am defrosting some ham to use it for.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can remove the blade but please do not remove it. Just clean up with a clean cloth because there is grease inside so you had better not separate the blade.
